Sigma 20mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Canon EF

The sigma 20mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art opens to f/1.4 at the ultra-wide 20mm focal length, providing exceptional light-gathering for astrophotography, night landscape, and low-light interior shooting where both a wide field of view and maximum aperture performance are required on Canon EF cameras.

Sigma's Art line applies its optical performance priorities to the ultra-wide 20mm focal length, using a large-diameter formula with premium glass to control the coma, field curvature, and chromatic aberration that challenge wide-angle prime designs at f/1.4.

The Hyper Sonic Motor delivers fast and near-silent autofocus with full-time manual focus override available at any point, maintaining full compatibility with Canon EF camera AF systems including continuous tracking modes for landscape and astrophotography use.

Sigma's Fluorite-grade Low Dispersion, Special Low Dispersion, and aspherical glass elements control coma, field curvature, and chromatic aberration at f/1.4, enabling sharp star rendering at all corners of the frame for astrophotography on Canon DSLR sensors.

Super Multi-Layer Coating suppresses flare and ghosting when shooting toward bright light sources within the expansive 20mm field of view, maintaining contrast and color fidelity for landscape, interior, and event photography under challenging lighting.

Nine rounded aperture blades produce smooth and circular out-of-focus highlights at f/1.4 and a well-formed starburst pattern at small apertures, supporting creative landscape and astrophotography compositions as well as wider aperture subject isolation.

Designed for the Canon EF mount and covering the full 35mm image circle, this lens is compatible with all Canon EOS DSLR cameras and with Canon EOS R mirrorless cameras via the Canon EF-EOS R mount adapter.

Precision-engineered construction with a non-rotating front element allows circular polarizing and screw-in graduated ND filters to maintain their orientation during autofocus operation without requiring readjustment between landscape shots.
