Sigma 20mm f/1.4 DG DN Art Lens for Sony E

The sigma 20mm f/1.4 DG DN Art opens to f/1.4 at the 20mm wide-angle focal length, providing exceptional light-gathering for astrophotography, night landscape, and low-light interior shooting where both a wide field of view and fast aperture are required simultaneously.

The DG DN Art line is Sigma's native mirrorless design series, built with optical formulas optimized for the shorter flange distance of Sony E-mount cameras, achieving higher corner resolution and less optical compromise than adapted DSLR designs.

A linear actuator focusing motor optimized for Sony E-mount communication delivers fast and near-silent autofocus operation, fully compatible with Sony's phase-detect subject detection, face recognition, and real-time eye-tracking AF systems.

Sigma's Fluorite-grade Low Dispersion and Special Low Dispersion glass elements, combined with aspherical elements, control chromatic aberration, field curvature, and coma at the wide f/1.4 aperture for sharp star rendering at all corners.

Super Multi-Layer Coating on internal elements suppresses flare and ghosting when shooting toward bright light sources within the expansive 20mm field of view, maintaining contrast and color fidelity for landscape and astrophotography.

Nine rounded aperture blades produce smooth and circular out-of-focus highlights at f/1.4, and the 20mm focal length at f/1.4 enables astrophotography exposures that render stars as sharp points of light with minimal coma in the corners.

Dust and splash resistant construction with a sealed rear mount gasket provides protection during outdoor shooting in field conditions, making this lens suitable for extended landscape, travel, and night photography sessions.

Designed natively for the Sony E-mount and covering the full 35mm image circle, this lens is fully compatible with all Sony Alpha full-frame mirrorless cameras and provides an equivalent 30mm focal length on APS-C E-mount bodies.
