Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8 L IS USM Lens (Canon RF)

The canon rf 15 35mm covers an ultra-wide focal range starting at 15mm, providing expansive field-of-view options for landscape, architecture, interior, and environmental portrait photography on full-frame EOS R cameras.

A constant f/2.8 maximum aperture is maintained at all focal lengths from 15mm to 35mm, providing two full stops of light advantage over f/5.6 kit lenses and enabling handheld shooting in low-light conditions.

Canon Nano USM delivers fast and near-silent autofocus across the full zoom range, maintaining smooth focus operation during video recording and supporting Dual Pixel CMOS AF subject tracking on compatible EOS R bodies.

The built-in Optical IS compensates for camera shake during handheld shooting, coordinating with in-body IS on compatible Canon EOS R cameras to provide effective multi-stop correction even at the 15mm extreme wide end.

Multiple Ultra-Low Dispersion glass elements in the optical formula suppress lateral and axial chromatic aberration across the zoom range, delivering sharp and color-accurate rendering from center to corners.

Super Spectra coatings on internal elements control internal reflections between elements and the sensor surface, reducing flare and ghosting when shooting into light sources or under strong overhead illumination.

Nine rounded aperture blades produce smooth circular highlights in out-of-focus areas, and at f/2.8 the lens delivers subject separation that is uncommon for an ultra-wide zoom in this focal range.

Dust and moisture resistance at barrel joints and control points, combined with fluorine coating on the front element, allows reliable use in outdoor environments where conditions may change during a shoot.
