Canon RF 135mm f/1.8 L IS USM Lens

The canon rf 135mm lens opens to f/1.8, one stop brighter than a typical f/2 telephoto prime, allowing faster shutter speeds in low light and shallower depth of field for subject separation and background blur.

Canon's Nano USM motor delivers fast, smooth, and near-silent autofocus for both still photography and video recording, with full-time manual focus override available at any time without switching modes.

The built-in Optical Image Stabilizer works in conjunction with in-body image stabilization in compatible Canon EOS R cameras, providing up to 8 stops of combined shake correction for handheld telephoto shooting.

Air Sphere Coating on selected lens elements minimizes flare and ghosting caused by light reflecting between elements and the sensor surface, maintaining contrast and color accuracy in backlit scenes.

Multiple Ultra-Low Dispersion glass elements control chromatic aberration across the aperture range, delivering sharp and color-accurate rendering from the center to the corners of the full-frame image circle.

A 9-blade rounded diaphragm produces smooth, near-circular bokeh highlights at wide apertures, contributing to the soft and pleasing out-of-focus backgrounds that make this lens suited to portrait work.

Two lens function buttons on the barrel can be assigned to camera functions for quick access during shooting, and a customizable control ring enables direct adjustment of aperture, ISO, or exposure compensation.

Designed exclusively for the Canon RF mount, this lens covers the full 35mm image circle and is fully compatible with all Canon EOS R full-frame and APS-C mirrorless cameras with the RF mount.
