Yongnuo YN 14EX II TTL Macro Ring Flash Kit for sony

The yongnuo yn 14ex ii uses a ring-shaped flash tube that mounts directly to the front of the lens, surrounding the subject with shadowless, even illumination from all sides simultaneously, which is the optimal lighting approach for close-up and macro photography.

Full TTL automatic flash metering reads through the lens to calculate the correct flash output for the subject distance and aperture setting, eliminating the need for manual flash power calculation during fast-paced macro shooting sessions.

The ring flash head contains 14 individual flash tubes arranged in two independently controllable groups, allowing the ratio of lighting from each side of the ring to be adjusted to introduce subtle directional shadows for three-dimensional subject rendering.

Built-in LED AF assist lamps provide continuous illumination in dark environments to help the camera's autofocus system acquire focus on small subjects before the flash fires, reducing the need for manual focus in macro shooting.

The YN-14EX II can function as a wireless master unit to trigger and control compatible Yongnuo and third-party TTL flash units remotely, extending the lighting options beyond what the ring flash alone provides.

Ships with a set of adapter rings covering the most common lens filter thread diameters, allowing the same ring flash unit to be used on lenses with different front element sizes without purchasing separate accessories.

High-Speed Sync extends the usable flash sync speed beyond the camera's standard X-sync limit, allowing the ring flash to be combined with wider apertures in bright ambient light for controlled depth of field in outdoor macro situations.

Designed for the Sony Multi Interface shoe found on Sony Alpha mirrorless and DSLR cameras, the YN-14EX II communicates full TTL exposure data and HSS control without requiring additional accessories or adapters.
