Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG Nikon

The sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG Art opens to f/1.4 at the classic wide-angle documentary focal length, providing strong subject separation and significant low-light advantage for street, travel, environmental portrait, and documentary photography on Nikon F-mount cameras.

Sigma's Art line places optical performance above all other considerations, using a large-diameter optical formula with premium glass types to achieve benchmark-level resolution and contrast at f/1.4 that rivals or exceeds many first-party prime lenses.

The Hyper Sonic Motor provides fast and near-silent autofocus with full-time manual focus override, maintaining full compatibility with Nikon F camera AF systems including AI Servo continuous tracking modes for moving subjects in documentary and event work.

Special Low Dispersion glass elements control axial and lateral chromatic aberration at the wide f/1.4 aperture, producing accurate color rendering and high contrast in the in-focus zone with minimal color fringing on high-contrast edges wide open.

Super Multi-Layer Coating on internal elements suppresses internal reflections and minimizes flare and ghosting when shooting into light sources or in backlit conditions at the 35mm wide-angle focal length during street and available-light work.

Nine rounded aperture blades produce smooth and near-circular out-of-focus highlights at f/1.4, delivering pleasing background separation that makes this lens effective for environmental portraits where background context contributes to the image.

Designed for the Nikon F mount and covering the full 35mm image circle, this lens is compatible with all Nikon D-series DSLR cameras and with Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras via the Nikon FTZ II mount adapter.

Precision-engineered lens barrel with tight manufacturing tolerances delivers consistent optical alignment, with a non-rotating front element allowing convenient use of circular polarizing and graduated neutral density filters.
