Sigma 24 70mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Art Lens for Nikon F

The sigma 24 70mm DG OS HSM Art covers the essential wide-to-short-telephoto standard zoom range from 24mm through 70mm on Nikon F-mount cameras, addressing landscape, portrait, event, and documentary photography needs in a single high-performance Art-line zoom.

A constant f/2.8 maximum aperture is maintained across the entire 24-70mm zoom range, providing consistent light-gathering, subject separation, and exposure control from 24mm wide through to 70mm without any aperture adjustment required during zooming.

The Hyper Sonic Motor delivers fast and near-silent autofocus across the full zoom range, with full-time manual focus override available at any point and full compatibility with Nikon F camera tracking modes including 3D tracking and continuous AF.

The built-in Optical Stabilizer provides effective shake correction for handheld standard zoom shooting, extending the usable handheld shutter speed range across the zoom range without requiring in-body stabilization from the camera body.

Sigma's Special Low Dispersion glass elements and aspherical elements in the Art-line optical formula control chromatic aberration, field curvature, and distortion across the full 24-70mm zoom range at the constant f/2.8 aperture.

Super Multi-Layer Coating on internal elements suppresses flare and ghosting in backlit conditions and under mixed lighting across the standard zoom range, maintaining image contrast and color fidelity at all focal lengths.

Designed for the Nikon F mount and covering the full 35mm image circle, this lens is compatible with all Nikon D-series DSLR cameras and with Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras via the Nikon FTZ II mount adapter.

Dust and splash resistant construction at barrel joints and a sealed rear mount gasket protect the lens during outdoor shooting in variable conditions, suitable for event, wedding, and travel photography in the field.
