Canon EOS R5 Mirrorless Camera

The canon r5 uses a 45MP full-frame CMOS sensor with Dual Pixel CMOS AF phase-detect pixels covering the full image area, delivering high-resolution files for commercial photography, large-format printing, and significant cropping flexibility in post-production.

Records 8K RAW internally at up to 30fps and 4K at up to 120fps in Canon Log 3 and HLG formats, providing full cinema-quality video capability alongside high-resolution stills from a single hybrid mirrorless camera body.

Dual Pixel CMOS AF with AI-based eye, face, and subject detection tracks people, animals, birds, and vehicles with high reliability in both stills and video modes, maintaining focus lock through rapid movement across the full frame.

Up to 8 stops of in-body image stabilization coordinates with optical IS in compatible Canon RF lenses, providing effective multi-stop shake correction for handheld shooting at slow shutter speeds and telephoto focal lengths.

Shoots at up to 20fps with the electronic shutter and 12fps with the mechanical shutter, with RAW burst recording and continuous Dual Pixel CMOS AF tracking between every frame throughout the burst sequence.

A 3.15-inch 2.1 million-dot vari-angle touchscreen folds out and rotates fully for selfie and vlog framing, with touch-to-focus, touch tracking, and swipe-to-review gesture support for flexible shooting positions.

Dual card slots accept CFexpress Type B for high-bandwidth 8K RAW and fast burst recording, and a UHS-II SD card as the second slot for simultaneous backup or overflow recording during long sessions.

Built-in dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS provide wireless image transfer, remote shooting via the Canon Camera Connect app, and accurate location tagging embedded in image metadata for travel and documentary work.
