Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens (Sony E)

The sigma 30mm DC DN Contemporary opens to f/1.4 on an APS-C sensor, providing an effective 45mm equivalent standard field of view with strong subject separation and significant low-light capability for street, portrait, and everyday photography on Sony APS-C cameras.

A stepping motor focusing system delivers smooth and near-silent autofocus well suited for video recording on Sony APS-C E-mount cameras, with fast subject acquisition for stills and quiet focus transitions during movie mode without audible motor noise.

Sigma's Special Low Dispersion glass elements and aspherical elements control chromatic aberration and field curvature at f/1.4 on an APS-C sensor, maintaining center and edge sharpness across the image circle for both portrait and street photography use.

Super Multi-Layer Coating suppresses flare and ghosting in backlit conditions, maintaining image contrast and color fidelity when shooting street, environmental portrait, and available-light subjects toward strong light sources on APS-C cameras.

Nine rounded aperture blades produce smooth and circular out-of-focus highlights at f/1.4, delivering pleasing background separation at the effective 45mm standard equivalent focal length for portrait and documentary work on APS-C Sony cameras.

The DC DN designation confirms this lens is designed specifically for APS-C mirrorless sensors, providing a compact and lightweight build that is proportional to Sony APS-C camera bodies while delivering optical performance optimized for the sensor size.

A compact and lightweight construction keeps this lens unobtrusive for street, travel, and everyday photography, making it comfortable to carry alongside APS-C Sony cameras without adding significant weight or bulk to the overall kit.

Designed for the Sony APS-C E-mount image circle and compatible with all Sony APS-C E-mount cameras including the Alpha 6000, 6100, 6400, 6600, 6700 series and ZV-E10 and ZV-E10 II cameras, providing an effective 45mm standard equivalent.
