Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro Art Lens (Sony E)

The sigma 105mm DG DN Macro Art delivers true 1:1 life-size magnification with autofocus maintained throughout the full focus range, enabling precise close-up capture of small subjects at actual size on full-frame Sony E-mount cameras.

An f/2.8 maximum aperture provides strong subject separation for portrait work at longer distances and sufficient light-gathering for controlled macro photography in studio and field conditions without requiring flash at all shooting distances.

A linear actuator focusing motor delivers fast, smooth, and near-silent autofocus across the full focus range from infinity to the 1:1 macro minimum distance, fully compatible with Sony's Real-time Eye AF and subject tracking systems.

Sigma's Special Low Dispersion glass elements and aspherical elements control chromatic aberration, field curvature, and spherical aberration across the focus range from infinity through to the 1:1 macro minimum working distance on a full-frame sensor.

Super Multi-Layer Coating suppresses flare and ghosting in backlit macro situations and when shooting portrait subjects against bright backgrounds, maintaining image contrast and color fidelity across the aperture range.

Nine rounded aperture blades produce smooth and circular out-of-focus highlights at f/2.8, delivering pleasing background separation for portrait use at longer distances and attractive macro backgrounds at the 1:1 close-focus position.

Dust and splash resistant construction with a sealed mount gasket protects the lens during outdoor macro shooting in field conditions, making it suitable for nature, botanical, and food photography in variable weather environments.

Designed natively for the Sony E-mount and covering the full 35mm image circle, this lens is compatible with all Sony Alpha full-frame mirrorless cameras and provides an effective 157.5mm equivalent on APS-C E-mount bodies.
