BOYA BY M1DM Dual Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone

The boya by m1dm provides two omnidirectional lavalier microphones on a single Y-split cable that connects to one 3.5mm input, recording both speakers simultaneously to a single mixed mono channel suitable for 2-person interview and conversation recording.

A wide frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz covers the full range of human hearing, capturing voice with natural tonal accuracy across the bass, mid, and high frequency range for both close-up lavalier and slight off-axis placement positions.

A Y-split cable terminates in a 3.5mm TRS connector for cameras and recorders and a 3.5mm TRRS connector for smartphones, providing compatibility with both professional camera audio inputs and smartphone headphone jacks without additional adapters.

Each lavalier capsule uses an omnidirectional pickup pattern that captures sound from all directions equally, providing natural voice reproduction regardless of small head movements and reducing the need for precise placement adjustment during interviews.

Both lavalier capsules draw plug-in power directly from the connected camera, recorder, or smartphone through the 3.5mm jack, requiring no batteries and eliminating the ongoing battery replacement cost common in wireless systems.

A 6-meter total cable length from the camera connection point to the lavalier clip positions provides enough reach for seated interview setups, panel discussions, and table conversation recording without requiring cable extensions.

The flexible lavalier cable is designed to minimize handling and clothing noise transmission to the capsule, reducing the rustle and friction sounds that can occur when subjects move during interview and documentary recording.

Compatible with cameras, camcorders, smartphones, and audio recorders that accept a 3.5mm microphone input, covering the full range of devices used for interview and documentary video production without additional adapters.
