SmallRig "Black Mamba" Camera Cage Kit for EOS R5 C, R5 & R6

The smallrig r5c Black Mamba cage kit is designed to fit the Canon EOS R5 C, R5, and R6 camera bodies, providing full-surround protection and a comprehensive set of accessory mounting points while maintaining complete access to all camera controls, ports, and battery compartment.

Numerous 1/4-inch-20 and 3/8-inch-16 threaded mounting points on the top, sides, front, and bottom allow simultaneous attachment of monitor arms, follow focus systems, microphone mounts, LED lights, and wireless audio receivers in a complete cinema rig.

Multiple cold shoe and NATO rail mounts on the cage top and sides provide additional attachment positions for monitors, audio receivers, and accessories, extending the A-side and B-side mounting capacity beyond the camera's built-in hot shoe.

An Arca-Swiss compatible dovetail base plate allows the cage to mount directly to Arca-Swiss compatible tripod heads and quick-release clamps for fast camera setup and dismount without additional baseplate accessories.

Integrated 15mm LWS rod port on the base allows standard lightweight studio 15mm rails to be attached directly, supporting follow focus systems, matte boxes, and lens support accessories in a standard cinema rig configuration.

Integrated cable clamp positions for HDMI and USB-C cables reduce strain on the camera's port connectors during recording, preventing accidental disconnection of the monitoring or power delivery cable during handheld shooting.

CNC-machined aluminum alloy construction delivers a strong and lightweight cage that adds minimal weight to the R5 C cinema rig while providing the structural rigidity required for reliable accessory mounting during demanding production use.

Fully compatible with the SmallRig accessory ecosystem including top handles, side handles, monitor mounts, follow focus systems, and matte boxes, enabling a complete modular build for the Canon EOS R5 C cinema rig.
