SmallRig Camera Cage for Sony a7C

The smallrig a7c cage provides a full surrounding frame for the Sony A7C that protects the camera body during production use while simultaneously adding multiple mounting points for accessories without covering any camera controls, ports, or battery access.

Numerous 1/4-inch-20 and 3/8-inch-16 threaded mounting points on the top, sides, bottom, and front of the cage allow simultaneous attachment of monitor arms, follow focus systems, microphones, lights, and other production accessories.

Multiple NATO and cold shoe mounting points on the cage top and sides provide additional attachment positions for monitors, wireless audio receivers, microphone mounts, and other camera accessories without blocking the camera's built-in shoe.

An Arca-Swiss compatible dovetail base allows the cage and camera system to mount directly to Arca-Swiss compatible tripod heads and quick-release systems without an additional baseplate, enabling fast camera mounting and dismounting.

Integrated 15mm rod support on the base allows standard lightweight LWS 15mm rails to be attached directly to the cage, supporting follow focus systems, matte boxes, and other rod-mounted accessories in a standard cinema rig configuration.

Machined to fit the Sony A7C body precisely, the cage aligns with all camera ports including HDMI, USB-C, multi-terminal, and memory card access points without requiring disassembly of the cage to access any camera function.

CNC-machined aluminum alloy construction provides a strong and lightweight cage that adds minimal weight to the A7C camera system while delivering the rigidity needed for reliable accessory mounting during handheld and gimbal production use.

Designed to integrate with the SmallRig accessory ecosystem including top handles, side handles, monitor mounts, follow focus systems, and matte boxes, providing a complete and compatible build-out solution for the Sony A7C.
